Tifco
Gage & Gear announced 9/14/07 that they
received the ISO 9001: 2000 Registration.
“The ISO 9001:2000 Registration is a standard
of statistical process control in the industry,”
Says Project Development Manager Scott Sakuta.
“For years, we have been continually improving
our business processes and have been complying
with the ISO. Now that we are registered
ISO 9001:2000, we are letting our customers
know and our future customers know that
Tifco holds the utmost standards for our
industry. This is only the beginning for
us as we constantly continue to improve
ourselves as individuals and as a company.
Our next goal is to attain registration
for ISO 17025 by the end of the first quarter
of 2008.” Tifco Gage & Gear makes precision
gears, master gears, spline gages for the
aerospace and automotive industry. Their
sister company, Delta Research, also of
Livonia, Michigan provides prototype gears,
gear cases and complete power trains to
the automotive and military industry and
has been ISO 9001:2000 Certified since 2000.
